You check, Google, refresh, or ask for reassurance, then feel better for ten minutes before the case file opens again.

Free private podcast for moms with health anxiety
You check the spot again in the mirror. You refresh the portal. You ask your husband if it looks different. You type the same question into Google, Reddit, and ChatGPT with slightly different wording because maybe this time one of them will finally give you certainty.
And while you’re doing all of that, dinner is happening. Your kids are talking. Your actual life is still going on without you.
Done Suffering in Advance™ is a free private podcast for the mom who wants to take her health seriously without losing more of her life to fear.
No symptom lists. No empty reassurance. No “just stop worrying.”
I’m Tired of Suffering in Advance
Worry is not preparation. Checking is not prevention. Fear Is Not Protection™
There is another way to respond
“Huh. That’s weird.” can be the beginning of a clear next step, not the beginning of a full-blown disaster movie in your head.
Maybe you are the woman who checks. You Google, refresh the portal, ask someone to look, or replay the conversation with the doctor because you need to know you did not miss anything.
Maybe you are the woman who avoids. You put off opening the portal or booking the appointment because the possibility of bad news feels like too much to hold.
Different fear. Same boss.
The goal is not to become careless or convince yourself nothing is wrong. It is to notice what is happening, get appropriate care when you need it, and stop letting uncertainty take over the rest of your day.
This is what I mean by “Huh. That’s weird.” Not ignoring it. Not pretending it is nothing. It is noticing something without immediately deciding your life is about to fall apart. You can make the call, get the information, and keep living while you wait.
If this sounds familiar
You are capable everywhere else. But one unexpected sensation, symptom, portal notification, or scary thought can hijack the whole day.
You check, Google, refresh, or ask for reassurance, then feel better for ten minutes before the case file opens again.
You might avoid things too. Not because you do not care, but because the possibility of bad news feels impossible to sit with.
Fear is taking up space that belongs to dinner, bedtime, vacations, work, sleep, and the ordinary good parts of your life.
Inside the private podcast
Done Suffering in Advance™ is seven private episodes for the woman who wants to understand why the loop keeps happening, what to do in the moment, and how to get her life back from fear.
Why “just stop Googling” never works when fear has convinced you checking is how you stay safe.
The quiet things you do when one sensation becomes a full-blown case file in your head.
Why health anxiety is really a certainty problem, and what happens in the space between “something feels wrong” and “I know what this means.”
What waiting on results stole from me, and why worrying cannot change the answer.
When checking feels like being a good mom, a responsible adult, or “just being proactive,” but fear is actually taking you out of your own life.
A private, honest check-in to help you see whether fear is running your days more than you realized.
What comes next when you are done collecting advice and ready to understand your own pattern.
The waitlist is open

A note from Laine
Before the credentials, I spent 15 years living with severe, debilitating health anxiety. I Googled symptoms, checked my body, asked for reassurance, and turned every little sensation into a worst-case scenario. Fear had me chasing certainty so hard that I went through scans and procedures I later realized I did not need.
But the part that still gets me is this: health anxiety stole the infanthood of both of my children. I was there, but so much of it is a blur because part of me was always scanning, bracing, researching, or trying to make sure nothing terrible was about to happen. I cannot get that time back.
For the last five years, I have lived differently. Not because nothing ever feels weird. Because I learned I can notice something, get it checked when it needs checking, not know yet, and keep living. Done Suffering in Advance™ is the conversation I wish I had been given in year one.
You don’t have to solve every what-if before you get your life back.
